Welcome to the Gaslamp Museum:

Home of the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation

The Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation (GQHF) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the architecture, culture, and history of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, and tasked with safeguarding the heritage of this nationally designated historic district. We take pride in providing informative and engaging experiences to our local community and visitors alike through exhibits, lectures, educational programs, historic architectural tours, and events, including the annual Fall Back Festival Children's Historical Street Fair. Our headquarters, the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House, built in 1850, is the oldest building in downtown San Diego.

You can support the museum by becoming a Member or purchasing tickets to a Self-Guided Tour of the Davis-Horton House or a Guided Walking Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter
